“For the past twenty years the work has focused on the human figure. Virtually everything I do begins with me working directly from the model in the studio. I continue to search for a distinctive vocabulary that can convey the energy and immediacy of working directly with the figure while ensuring that the work, regardless of media, is technically sound and will hopefully stand the test of time both physically and aesthetically.”
