Linda Craddock graduated from the Alberta College of Art in 1974 and received a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Calgary in 1988. Her work has been exhibited Internationally in Public Exhibitions in the U.S.A, Poland and the Czech Republic and Nationally in British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Quebec including a touring exhibition with the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography.  In Alberta, Public Exhibitions have included the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton as well as the Glenbow Museum and the Nickle Arts Museum in Calgary.  Solo exhibition venues include the Visual Arts Alberta Gallery, Edmonton, and a forthcoming exhibition at One on One Gallery at Medicine Hat College. As well, Linda has had solo exhibitions at numerous provincial Artist-run galleries such as Latitude 53 in Edmonton, Off Centre Centre in Calgary and Commercial galleries in several provinces.  The Alberta Foundation for the Arts, The Art Gallery of Alberta and the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography in Ottawa have acquired her work for their permanent collections, as have numerous Corporate and Private collectors, Internationally, Nationally and Provincially. Linda has taught Photography through the Calgary Board of Education, Red Deer College, and as a Sessional Instructor for both the Department of Art and Continuing Education at the University of Calgary. She is currently involved in assisting with the development of the new Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre in Calgary, Alberta and with the Alberta Society of Artists as Provincial Exhibition Chair.

ASA: Could you tell us about your influences?

Linda: I am influenced by the photographic image both personal and historic.

ASA: Which body of your work would you consider most successful to date?

Linda: I am most pleased with my most recent work.
